Who carries out the work: We work with qualified, registered and insured engineers and assessors. Essex Certificate Services coordinates and manages your certificates and bookings — we do not personally carry out gas, electrical, energy, fire or asbestos inspections, and we are not ourselves Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT or otherwise trade-registered.

Pricing: Prices shown on this site are “from” prices for the smallest, simplest qualifying property. Final price depends on property size, number of bedrooms, access, urgency, location, number of electrical circuits, whether the property is an HMO/commercial property, and whether any remedial works are needed. We don't claim to be the cheapest option in Essex.
Remedial works: Package and service prices cover inspection and certification coordination only. Any remedial labour, parts or repair works are quoted separately once inspection findings are known.
VAT: Our VAT position is still being finalised. We'll state our VAT position clearly on every quote once it's confirmed.
